From November 13th to 14th, the carbon market side event of the 2017 Bonn Climate Change Conference was successfully held. This side event includes the following four themes: "Best practice sharing of Chinese carbon market companies", "International experience sharing of carbon market construction and operation", "Building a sustainable carbon market" and "How to play the positive role of the carbon market in controlling the transformation and upgrading of greenhouse gas emissions, improving quality and efficiency".

The side event was co-organized by the National Development and Reform Commission‘s Climate Department, the European Union‘s Directorate-General for Climate Change Action, the World Bank, the National Climate Strategy Center, Beijing Environmental Exchange and other institutions, and co-organized by the International Emissions Trade Association and the European Energy Exchange.
